Appearance characteristics
The particles are transparent or off-white in color, typically spherical, ellipsoidal, or fine round rod-shaped, with a glossy surface and excellent reflective properties.
Basic Features
—Rubber exhibits excellent resilience, wear resistance, anti-slip properties, and shock absorption performance. TPR material offers superior softness and comfort compared to rubber, but its tensile strength, fatigue resistance, and mechanical properties are inferior to those of vulcanized rubber.
——Operating temperature range: -45 to 90°C. The commonly referred TPR material is based on SBS substrate, with the following chemical properties: moderate weather resistance and aging resistance, temperature resistance of 70~75°C. For materials requiring better aging resistance and temperature resistance, modified materials based on SEBS substrate can be selected.
—Hardness Characteristics: TPR materials can adjust their hardness within a Shore A scale range of 5 to 100 degrees, while SEBS-based modified materials can achieve even lower hardness levels.
— Processing Characteristics: TPR material exhibits excellent adhesion properties with certain adhesives, inks, and the like, offering superior performance in spray painting and screen printing.
——Environmental Protection Features: As an eco-friendly soft rubber material, TPR primarily undergoes testing for hazardous substances such as plasticizers (phthalates), nonylphenol (NP), and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). It complies with environmental standards including ROHS, REACH, EN71-3, and ASTM F963.
